The Old Yard

It took 2 years in the planning, 7 months to build, 3 months to fit out and 3 long weeks for the final move, but we are now happily located in our new premises at The Old Yard, Logge Farm in South Petherton.  We have come full circle….. back to where it all started! Stefan Elswood started the business some 21 years ago in an old pig shed on this very site. The business outgrew the old pig shed, which is when we located to Bower Hinton. We also knew that one day we would love to come back to Logge Farm…and we did!

It was well worth the wait and all the hard work and we are enjoying the improved surroundings! The bio-mass boiler is operational and it’s amazing how  warm the entire building is maintained using our wood waste and topped up occasionally with wood pellets. We are also enjoying  the peaceful location of the workshop,  surrounded by fields and popular trees!

The workshop is now up and running and we are really pleased that the first kitchen to be manufactured in the workshop is for a local client who lives in South Petherton. The kitchen has been made in solid oak and features traditional steel knobs which compliments the natural colour of the oak. 

We are also thrilled to welcome Rob Gass as a new employee. Rob specialises in all types of paint finishes, traditional hand painting and beautiful dis-stressed finishes and we are very excited to work with him and use his experience and knowledge to produce some exciting new products next year.
