The result was a beautiful and inviting open plan family kitchen
We started working with this client to create their dream home, as they had lived in the property for some years but the kitchen space did not fulfil their lifestyle. The result was a beautiful and inviting open plan family kitchen. We created a scheme that was colourful and calming using a mixture of materials and textures to create a sympathetic yet fun scheme for the family to enjoy for years to come.
Creating a circular oak breakfast bar at one end to play on the asymmetry of the room
The starting point of the design was to incorporate their existing Aga. We decided to create a panelled mantle to frame it and act as a backdrop for the beautiful island. Creating a circular oak breakfast bar at one end to play on the asymmetry of the room and feature brass lights hung along the rectangular section all helps define the space.
Each of these items of bespoke furniture help marry together the living and dining space into the kitchen
During the design process of this kitchen, we discussed and suggested several important features that we felt would enhance the space. We created a bi fold breakfast cabinet set into an existing arch and a bookcase and small desk area. Each of these items of bespoke furniture help marry together the living and dining space into the kitchen.
