Creating a practical and magnificent space to enjoy

Working closely with our clients to create a kitchen that looks like it could have always been sitting in this Georgian Farmhouse. We decided that keeping the original built in cabinets and adding coordinating bespoke ones would be the perfect measure of old and new. Creating a practical and magnificent space to enjoy. The traditional design of the property having a kitchen and scullery works well. Creating a main kitchen for preparing and cooking, with the secondary kitchen for breakfast items, drinks and coffee station that leads through into the breakfast room.

Green, a rich almost black green to create a dramatic feel.

The colour scheme was based around the existing dark stained timber floors and refurbished worksurface. Combining Farrow & Ball’s Studio Green, a rich almost black green to create a dramatic feel. Lifted with light marble style quartz, with a full bullnose edge, marble upstands and detailing adding softness and lightness. The tongue and groove panelling all finished in Studio Green encasing the room and setting off the aged brass finishes. We love the finished result, the artwork, lighting and copper tabletop all adding to the understated luxury.

Creating not only a truly functional space but one that combined with the finishing stylish touches creates a dramatic and warm space

Some of our favourite highlights in this room would be the practical storage with the bi fold breakfast cabinet, complete with hidden drinks fridge, integrated bins, and dishwasher. Creating not only a truly functional space but one that combined with the finishing stylish touches creates a dramatic and warm space that sits harmoniously in this period home.
